Monica Hinrichs, MSW, RSW, RCAT

Monica Hinrichs (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker, Registered Art Therapist and a CAST Sandplay Therapy Intern with over 30 years experience in mental health practiced in community based settings. Monica is currently also active as faculty and clinical supervisor of art therapy students. 

Her areas of expertise include trauma and attachment informed therapies delivered to children, youth, and their families, with a focus on the use of parent-child/teen art psychotherapy and sandplay therapy.  Monica is a certified Mentalized-Based Treatment - Adolescent (MBT-A) practitioner.

Monica's diverse cultural background and personal experiences have enriched her life and shaped her career. She finds joy and inspiration in nature and art making.
