Jacquie Benish, MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker

Jacquie (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker who grew up in the east end of Toronto, where she is currently raising her three children.


She spent over 15 years working in child welfare working with young people and their families, from an Attachment Theory, Trauma-informed framework.


She believes in a holistic, integrated, strengths-based approach to helping clients overcome whatever challenges they may face, to flourish to the maximum of their abilities.

Jacquie believes strongly in an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, LGBTQ-affirmative perspective, and has made a lifelong commitment to learning and practising in this manner.


Jacquie has a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Master of Social Work degree from University of Toronto and a diploma in Social Service Work and a B.A. in Criminology.
