Margaret (she/her) is a mother of four-year old twins. Margaret works with children (0-12 years old) in a community-based mental healthy agency. She uses evidence-based interventions that strengthen the attachment in the parent/caregiver-child relationship and offers practical strategies that help them support their children’s mental well-being and development. 


Margaret is a trauma-informed and culturally-responsive practitioner, as well as a passionate advocate about improving access to service and raising awareness on the importance of mental health in the early years.


For fifteen years, Margaret worked supporting children, families and communities in her role as an RECE in the school board. She has extensive experience and training in child development, early intervention and infant mental health.  Margaret also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies and Equity Studies from the University of Toronto and completed her Masters of Social Work Program at the University of Windsor.
