Jessica Diamond, MSW, RSW
Clinic Director
Registered Social Worker
Child and Family Specialist
Jessica (she/her) is a mother of three, a Registered Social Worker, and a fierce advocate for children and youth.
Jessica has worked with individuals, families and communities, as well as at the system level, always with the goal of helping to make things better for kids.

Jessica believes strongly in the power of collaboration, healthy relationships and community. She supports children, youth and families by working together with them to strengthen their relationships with themselves and with others, because she believes that connection is fundamental to our wellbeing. Jessica believes that you deserve to be heard and supported, and that as the expert in "you", your values and goals should define your work together. Jessica works hard to create a safe space that is free of judgement, where families can explore and learn together.

Jacquie Benish, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker
Jacquie (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker who grew up in the east end of Toronto, where she is currently raising her three children.
She spent over 15 years working in child welfare working with young people and their families, from an Attachment Theory, Trauma-informed framework.
She believes in a holistic, integrated, strengths-based approach to helping clients overcome whatever challenges they may face, to flourish to the maximum of their abilities.

Jacquie believes strongly in an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, LGBTQ-affirmative perspective, and has made a lifelong commitment to learning and practising in this manner.
Jacquie has a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Master of Social Work degree from University of Toronto and a diploma in Social Service Work and a B.A. in Criminology.

Dr. Joseph Mirabella, C. Psych
School and Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Mirabella (he/him) is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario in Clinical and School psychology.
Dr. Mirabella works with children, teens and their families providing treatment, consultation and assessment. These services include evidence-based interventions for depression, anxiety, trauma, behaviour, and other life stressors and challenges.
Dr. Mirabella also provides psycho-educational assessments to identify intellectual, emotional and behavioural functioning and how these relate to learning. In addition, he provides psycho-diagnostic assessments to determine mental health and social emotional functioning.

Dr. Mirabella's practice focuses on helping young people nurture their strengths, develop their skills to build more positive relationships, and to move towards things that are most meaningful to them. He has a wealth of experience and has held leadership roles working in schools and in the community.

Katie Helfand, MA, RP
Registered Psychotherapist
Katie (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings. She has experience working with both neurotypical and neurodiverse children and youth, supporting them with a variety of issues including anxiety, mood and adjustment challenges as well as high risk behaviours.
She has been the therapist in a live-in treatment setting for dual-diagnosed youth identified as “complex care” and a therapist in both day treatment classrooms and community-based settings. Most recently, Katie has co-developed an autism mental health counselling program at a community mental health organization in Toronto, providing neurodiversity-affirming treatment to children and youth with mental health challenges and an autism diagnosis.
Katie operates from a strengths and attachment-based approach drawing from a variety of evidence based interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused and mindfulness-based modalities.

Monica Hinrichs, MSW, RSW, RCAT
Registered Social Worker
Registered Art Therapist
Monica Hinrichs is a Registered Social Worker, Registered Art Therapist and a CAST Sandplay Therapy Intern with over 30 years experience in mental health practiced in community based settings. Monica is currently also active as faculty and clinical supervisor of art therapy students.
Her areas of expertise include trauma and attachment informed therapies delivered to children, youth, and their families, with a focus on the use of parent-child/teen art psychotherapy and sandplay therapy. Monica is a certified Mentalized-Based Treatment - Adolescent (MBT-A) practitioner.

Monica's diverse cultural background and personal experiences have enriched her life and shaped her career. She finds joy and inspiration in nature and art making.

Margaret Megitt, MSW, RSW, RECE
Early Childhood and Family Support Specialist
Registered Social Worker
Margaret (she/her) is a mother of four-year old twins. Margaret works with children (0-12 years old) in a community-based mental healthy agency. She uses evidence-based interventions that strengthen the attachment in the parent/caregiver-child relationship and offers practical strategies that help them support their children’s mental well-being and development. Margaret is a trauma-informed and culturally-responsive practitioner, as well as a passionate advocate about improving access to service and raising awareness on the importance of mental health in the early years.
For fifteen years, Margaret worked supporting children, families and communities in her role as an RECE in the school board. She has extensive experience and training in child development, early intervention and infant mental health. Margaret also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies and Equity Studies from the University of Toronto and completed her Masters of Social Work Program at the University of Windsor.
